Week of December 15

Dear Families,

This is our last week of school before winter break. It is a busy week and the excitement of the holiday season and winter break is growing.  In addition to all of the learning happening, our classes are scheduled for winter parties and an all school sing-a-long later this week.  Please note that Friday, December 20 is an early dismissal.  All classes will be dismissed at 12:35 p.m.  Walkers will be dismissed from the library doors in the core playground.  My next weekly update will be sent on January 5.  I wish all of you a wonderful winter break and holiday season. 

Reading Informational Session for Families

Save the date of Thursday, January 30 at 9:15 a.m. for this informative session with our Curriculum Instructional Leader, Andrea Noble. Mrs. Noble will share information about our reading program, how children learn to read as well as tips and strategies for promoting literacy at home. Reading Informational Session sign up

Progress Report for First Trimester

This past Friday, December 13, progress reports became available on the parent portal.  If you haven't reviewed it yet, please access the report.  We also recommend noting the tardy and absence data. Throughout the year I have been highlighting tardy data as part of our efforts to raise awareness and  improve students’ on time arrival to school.  If you need help accessing your child’s PowerSchool account, please contact the main office for assistance.

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration will be open this coming week!  On Wednesday, December 18, you can register an incoming kindergarten student through this link:  Registration Information  Children who are 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025 are eligible to begin kindergarten in the fall.
