Week of January 26

Posted Date: 02/03/2025

Dear Families,

It is hard to believe we are already entering the last week of January.  February is right around the corner so please take note of the important dates at the bottom of the email.  We do have some schedule changes and February break that will be here before we know it.

The evacuation of the high school yesterday brought to life the importance of our safety and security protocols.  I want to take this opportunity to thank our families for their trust and cooperation with our procedures.  Our staff remained committed to keeping school routine yesterday and students remained unaware of the events outside of school.  Ensuring that students feel safe and secure at school is our priority.  We are fortunate to have such a caring and committed staff and I am grateful for their dedication to our students and families.

Reading Informational Session for Families

This week, Thursday, January 30 at 9:15 a.m. for this informative session with our Curriculum Instructional Leader, Andrea Noble. Mrs. Noble will share information about our reading program, how children learn to read as well as tips and strategies for promoting literacy at home. Reading Informational Session sign up

Health Class News

In health class, our students continue to learn about and focus on building lifelong healthy habits! This month, students have been learning about the importance of balanced nutrition, staying active, and taking care of our minds and bodies. Through fun activities and discussions, students are exploring ways to make healthy choices that fuel their growing bodies and minds. We invite you to try some new recipes at home and talk to your child about what they’ve been learning in health class!
