Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the winter break.  School reopens for students on Tuesday, February 25.  Tomorrow, February 24 is a professional development day for our teachers.  

Literacy Workshop for Families

We recently held a family literacy workshop led by our Curriculum Instructional Leader for Language Arts and Social Studies, Andrea Noble.   Mrs. Noble shared information about our reading program, how children learn to read as well as tips and strategies for promoting literacy at home.  If you were unable to attend, please use this link to view the recording. K-5 Literacy Workshop for Families HES.pptx-1.webm

Family Conferences

Family conferences are scheduled for March 12,13 and 14. This is our second all school family conference event.  Our teachers will be sharing information about student progress as well as areas of student growth for the remainder of the year.  Our goal every year is for every family to participate so that we have 100% of our families meeting with their child’s teacher.  If you have not already received a link from your child’s teacher to sign up for a conference, watch your email this week for scheduling information.  

Kindergarten Registration

If you have an incoming kindergarten student for the 25-26 school year, you can begin the registration process.  Follow this link to our district website to register.  Children are eligible for kindergarten if they are 5 on or before September 1, 2025.  Registration
